The terms for using Word of Life Digital Campus.
Effective 11 September 2026.
These terms apply to Word of Life Digital Campus (“WOLMTX”), the online campus of Word of Life, a Christian church (“Word of Life”, “the church”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The Privacy Policy explains what information the site collects and how it is handled, and forms part of these terms.
Privacy PolicyWOLMTX exists to serve the ministry of Word of Life: worship, teaching, prayer, pastoral care, discipleship and fellowship. Everything on it is offered in that spirit, and it is free to use.
Participation in the life of the church — membership, serving in a ministry, teaching, leadership, pastoral care and church discipline — is governed by Word of Life's beliefs, practices and leadership, not by these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the church's freedom, protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and by the Texas Constitution, to decide matters of faith, doctrine, worship, membership and ministry, or asks anyone else to decide them.
You are welcome here whatever you believe. Using the site does not make you a member of Word of Life, and becoming a member is a separate step taken with the church.
Groups, classes, the Academy, discipleship, the Spiritual Assessment, invitations, events and serving are ways to take part in the church's ministry. Taking part is voluntary. Who serves in which ministry, and in what role, is decided by the church; roles involving children or young people require training and a background check before anyone may serve.
Invitations are for people you know. Do not use them to send unwanted messages, and do not share an invitation link where it is not welcome.
When using WOLMTX, do not:
Prayer, pastoral conversations, teaching, discipleship and the Spiritual Assessment are spiritual care offered by a church. They are not medical, psychological, counselling, legal, financial or other professional advice or treatment, and using them does not create a professional relationship of that kind. Please seek a qualified professional for those needs; the church may encourage you to.
The site's Guide gives directions around the site. It is not a person and it does not give pastoral counsel.
WOLMTX is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number now, or go to your nearest emergency room.
Prayer requests and pastoral conversations are kept confidential within the ministry roles that need them, subject to the limits the Privacy Policy explains — including the legal duty to report suspected abuse or neglect.
What you write, record or upload stays yours. By submitting it, you give Word of Life permission to store it, show it and use it for the purpose you submitted it for — for example, to pray, to answer your question, or to publish a testimony you agreed to publish — and to keep a copy where the Privacy Policy explains it must.
Sermons, teaching, lessons, music, recordings, images, the Digital Campus design and the Word of Life name and marks belong to Word of Life or to those who licensed them to the church. You may watch, read and share links to them for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, re-broadcast, sell or republish them without the church's permission.
Bible translations are protected by their publishers' copyrights. Scripture text appears on WOLMTX only from sources the church is permitted to use, and verses you save are for your personal use.
The Digital Campus uses the following work by others, under its licence:
WOLMTX relies on other services — Square for payments, your browser's push service for notifications, and, where the church places them, YouTube and Vimeo for video. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them. The church may publish to its Facebook Page from WOLMTX; Facebook is Meta's service, under Meta's terms.
The site may link to websites the church does not run. Word of Life is not responsible for their content or practices.
Protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults comes before every other consideration on this site. The church may restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts, keep records and contact the authorities to protect someone, and will comply with the legal duty to report suspected abuse or neglect. Anyone with an account can raise a safeguarding concern, which goes only to the church's safeguarding staff.
The church may suspend an account — which stops it signing in, posting or taking part — if it is used against these terms, to protect someone, or where the law requires. A suspended account's records are kept, and the church can restore it.
You may stop using WOLMTX at any time and ask for your information to be deleted. The Data Deletion page explains what is deleted and what the church must keep.
Data DeletionThe church works to keep WOLMTX available, but it may be interrupted — for maintenance, by a problem with the internet or a service it relies on, or because a live broadcast could not go ahead. Features may change or end. Notifications depend on your browser and device and may arrive late or not at all, so please do not rely on them for anything urgent.
WOLMTX is offered freely, as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Word of Life does not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law of the United States. Any dispute about these terms that cannot be resolved by talking with the church will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Texas. Questions of faith, doctrine, membership and church discipline are for the church and are not subject to this section.
The church may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Word of Life has not yet published an email address or telephone number on this site for privacy questions. Until it does, there are two ways to reach the church about your information: make a request on the Data Deletion page, which is recorded, reviewed by a member of staff and can be tracked with the key it gives you; or speak to someone in person at a Word of Life gathering.
